HIya I am not and never have been a huge dentist fan, the last time I went I ahve to admit was when I was first pregnant with Hannah (ie over a year ago easily). So I thought I had better go and be seen especially as I know they'll need to take 2 teeth off and if I'm honest I've been putting it off as I can't stand that.
Well it turns out as I havent been in over a year I no longer have a dentist. The daft thing is Andy and the kids are as they went about 6 months ago, but even though I'm in the same family I'm not. This is apparently an NHS policy but no one wrote to say if you don't come in you'll be taken off the list it just happens.
I have seen this on the news but not had any experience of it. I ahve rung today 10 dentists around and none are taking new patients. Thankfully there is an emergency service in Bury but nothing else so I can't get a regular checkup etc til I can find a dentist.
It's all very strange, ah well guess I'd better grit my teeth and bear it............ (bad joke I know)
