I give blood about once every 3 months. But it made me think today if people know how easy and painfree it is. It doesnt take much time and if you have kids they usually have a play area where they can play while you give blood.
It made me think with the explosions this morning and the seriously injured that they will fast use up their supplies of blood and the need for people to give blood will be greater than ever.
So if you haven't given blood before go to the National Blood Service website and find your nearest centre and organise to give blood.

You know, I really have to get around to doing this! I just have never not had littlies with me long enough to go do it! Maybe in September when I have time ni the afternoons I'll finally get around to it!
Totally agree it is an easy and incredibly important thing you can do. My Grandmother has leukaemia and relies on regular blood transfusions, you never know who'll need your blood.
