Sorry not blogged for a while Christmas just gets so busy. Had fun had us all and Andy's sister and my brother round for Christmas dinner. Even managed home made gravy which I was quite impressed by. Lizzie you are a super spud peeler!!!!
Then boxing day at Andy's dad’s house which was lots of fun.
The kids are now shattered though so had a quiet few days, we had a family trip out yesterday mainly because Andy and Toby both needed new coats so we decided to make it yesterday. We had planned to see Robin and Nikki and the kiddiwinkles but snow did not permit it LOL never mind we’ll see you soon guys. Just have to post your pressies down LOL.
Tomorrow will be quite a humbling day I’m spending lunchtime helping out with meals for the homeless. Hadn’t been looking for it at all, (though maybe I should have been in retrospect), but glad I’m going. Be strange though to do something like that as haven’t in a few years with either being pregnant etc and usually being doing childcare etc. Just hope I can be useful, there’s often so much hurt that you feel overwhelmed with the need sometimes, so be praying that I can be who I need to be, I don’t mean pretending but that isn’t the place to deal with your emotional response to the situation, people need practical help not your stuff. Sorry got on my soap box.
