Broken washing machine

Well our washing machine has been out of action againf or a couple of days but that’s ok, just miss having clothes to wear LOL.

But every time a domestic appliance breaks it does make me think about how blessed we are compared to so many countries with the wealth of “stuff” that we have. If I live in some countries at best I would go to a laundrette, slightly less but still positive I would wash in a clean river. Though many countries rivers are polluted and they lack basic things such as water etc.

It can seem over whelming sometimes as you can feel so insignificant in your own fight to make a difference on the world in these issues, but it’s really a doing your bit in your own way. My mum always said if everyone who said what can one man do did something the world would be phenomenally changed. But i do feel challenged more and more to do much more than we have before on these issues. Not sure what that will entail but I’ll do my one Woman bit or we’ll do our one family bit!!!!
