It's Christmas Eve

Very strange feeling today it kind of feels like Christmas though not totally yet!!!!

been and done the ASDA thing which was surprisingly quiet and even the petrol station was quiet. Kept thinking maybe it was the 23rd and my calendar was wrong!!

To night's the night for doing the veggies and getting the stuffing etc ready, all the presents are wrapped. The boys have made table mats and the food is all bought. I’ve only to do the turkey in the morning and make a dessert. I must ice the cake tonight, been in the cake tin since it was made a few weeks back.

I like Christmas Eve we’ll do the Christmas story with the kids, and then settle down to think about it ourselves. I amamazed by God’s love in a new way every Christmas that he would do what he did for us. How frightening it must have been for everyone involved and yet so awesome. Since I’ve had children myself it helps me understand it in a way I never have before.

Anyway off to get things out of the freezer
