Well had my delivery from the really green grocer and was not really impressed. Yes it was organic but the bag of potatoes had 2 mouldy ones and a slug in it. Upon phoning I was informed that this is usual for organic veg. Was a bit disappointed, maybe I’m being picky but not my cup of tea at all. Also the quantity was not really enough for what I had paid and certainly wouldn’t last me a week!!!!
So the only other option that occurred to me is to actually finally get an allotment. Probably a bit much to do by myself, so hopefully my mum is going to come in with me and we can share the veg and fruit out between us. Sure the kids would absolutely love getting involved.
I’ve phone the allotment association in my area first to try and find out how you go about it so will let you know how I get on.
Any tips on growing fruit and veg gratefully received.
