Well that's it the day is over I am now officially 31 and 1 day old. I have say I had a fabulous day and our lounge looks like a branch of Hallmark or Clintons and I feel very spoilt. Every year the cards the kids make are more and more precious because of the time and effort they put into them. This year Sam made me a card that had 31 kisses in (and he added he'd counted twice to check there were 31), and Toby made me a card with a wordsearch on and another with a quiz on the back. Hannah has learnt to sing Happy Birthday (of a fashion) and Andy my lovely husband bought me a really indulgent present.....Thanks Hon!!!!! No it wasn't anything weird but for those of you who know me it was absolutely perfect!!! You know me so well Andy. I go some fabulous craft stuff, a lovely jumper, flowers, plants, vouchers, some money (which will be wisely spent by moi!!), some smellies, some fantastic books that I'm longing to get reading once my head is back in gear (was very poorly over the weekend). I've probably forgotten something vitally important but at the mo with a wooly head that's all I can remember LOL. OOh almost forgot Sam made at school some wonderful tissue paper flowers with straws as stems with his teacher once she heard it was my birthday. They are truly beautiful and certainly something I will treasure very much!!!
Andy had got me choccie croissants from Tesco and a lovely cup a coffee for brekkie, I had a nice soak in the bath, spent my day in school and then came home to a lovely roast dinner and birthday cake, complete with party table cloth, plates, banner and napkins.
Then we went to house group in the evening which was great.
It was a perfect day and I really enjoyed my birthday, thanks to everyone who sent me such wonderful cards. I know I have to email you back and I will just getting my head back in the land of the living so to speak. I really do appreciate it and to all of you who phoned it made the day more special.
