new year new blog

NOt sure who will be looking as no-one used to read my blog before but lack of time and a slight detour via facebook has meant I havent blogged in an awful long time. Like a few months or then some.

Its now 2008 and life looks a little different in the Green household. Since I last blogged Ruth has turned 1, and all the other three have got a year older. Hannah did in fact get potty trained both day and night which was pretty amazing and although I'd like to put it down to some method I have, I know from experience that kids do it when they're good and ready, we can just encourage.

So life in 2008 sees us both full time in music though as many will know Andy and I have not worked 9-5 for a while now, it just doesnt seem to fit with our lives, and I for one am glad, (and I think Andy is too), its much more flexible and fits around our family much better. The kids certainly appreciate it and we find it much more freeing.

We're currently working on some stuff for Scripture Union for their new Wordlive site. Producing their daily podacsts for them, they provide the written content and we produce it for them using voices and specially written music. Its been a really great thing to work on and wil be ongoing for a while so please check it out and let us know what you think, let the team at word live know what you find helpful etc.

We've just got back from a leadership conference in Oxford which has been incredibly encouraging but also pretty challenging. So watch this space, we're not about to leave the country or anything (or at least we dont think so), but we're expecting in faith for God to do some big things this year.
