Spoke to mum at lunchtime and she suggested that we go and see Being Jane at the cinema. It's a film I'd half wanted to see well more than half, but it was wonderful, everything a Jane Austen film should be but with none and all of the characters.
It's a film detailing her early life, and its truly interesting both in its detail and in the fun of spotting characters from the novels and the people she must have based them upon. If you are not at all a Jane Austen fan then I'm not sure you would have enough in it to hold your attention but it is a beautiful film and boy would I like the house with the big lake in front, what a beautiful house. (must find out where it was filmed).
